Ukrainian Missile hits Poland

A Russian made missile hit the city of Przewodów in Poland on Tuesday, escalating the current ongoining conflict of the Russian-Ukraine war.The Missile killed two individuals, and was suspected to be fired by Russia (According to the Polish Foreign Ministry, as well as the Polish president). Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed that Russia was involved in the strike, and called it "Very Significant Escalation". Russia has denied all these allegations.


But in a surprising turn of events, the investigation team in Poland found out that the missile was fired not by Russia, but by Ukraine.Nato secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday that a blast in Poland that killed two people was probably not an attack by Russia, but rather caused by a Ukrainian air defense system meant to counter a Russian aerial bombardment. The NATO and the G7 nations termed it as an "Unfortunate accident". Rishi Sunak, The Prime Minister of UK, has blamed Russia for this accident. (well, duh).


Meanwhile the Twitter has seen #WWIII, #World War 3, #Ukraine, and other hashtags trending for the entire day. I found out a lot of funny memes. Well, its a nice way to react to world war, if it happens.


Jokes apart, mentioning an important stuff here. Even if one of the NATO member is attacked, ARTICLE 5 of the NATO treaty does not come into action automatically. All the other member Nations must agree to the on the military action first, and then any attack against the enemy takes place. These consultations and agreements takes a lot of time.(Not surprised here)
