Elon Musk finalises the Twitter Deal
The richest man on this planet and soon to be on Mars (pun- intended), has finalised the Twitted Deal. Elon being Elon, he fired the entire Board, and Made himself the Cheif Twit. and according to him, the 'Bird became free'. Well quite a costly bird you bought there Elon.
Some of the people who were fired: Chief financial officer Ned Segal, and the firm's top legal and policy executive, Vijaya Gadde, are leaving alongside Cheif executive officer, Paras Agrawal.
He told he would reverse bans on suspended users, which could include former US President Donald Trump. He also added that he doesn't want the platform to become an echo chamber for hate and division. "Twitter obviously cannot become a free-for-all hell-scape, where anything can be said with no consequences!" he tweeted.
Musk has repeatedly stressed that his goal was to bolster “free speech” on the platform and work to “unlock” Twitter’s “extraordinary potential.” The Tesla CEO suggested he would rethink Twitter’s approach to content moderation and permanent bans, with potential impacts on civil discourse and the political landscape. He also talked about his desire to rid the platform of bots.
In my opinion, Musk is a very talented, and hardworking guy who can really unlock the true potential of twitter. He is very serious about what he does. The suggested improvements, can bring a good change and better environment on twitter, if implemented properly. Lasltly I think only time will tell, whether the bird is really 'free' or not.
